Dear Valued Customer,

On October 3rd, the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) reached a tentative agreement on a 61.5% wage increase extending the Master Contract until January 15, 2025. This 90-day period allows for negotiation of other issues including ILA's jurisdiction, automation, healthcare, and container royalty protections.

Accordingly, the $20.00 w/m Port Congestion Surcharge previously announced to take effect on October 1st, has been suspended until further notice. 

We hope that the ILA and USMX can reach an agreement on all outstanding issues by the extended deadline, preventing future supply chain disruptions.
